Data stored in your browser
The extension saves settings and cached shop data in Chrome's local storage on your device. This includes preferences such as dark mode, privacy mode, earning goals, saved shops, and dashboard state. You can remove this data by uninstalling the extension or clearing extension storage in Chrome.
Data sent to our servers
When you use Castly Pro features that require server-side processing (such as license validation or Listing Spy API requests), the extension sends only the data needed to fulfill that request. Requests include a session token after license activation — not your Etsy password.
Payments and licensing
Castly Pro purchases are processed by Polar.sh. Payment details are handled by Polar and its payment providers. We receive order and license information needed to activate your Pro access.
Website
castlypro.com may receive standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security and reliability. We do not use these logs for advertising profiles.
Third parties
- Etsy — the extension runs on Etsy pages you visit; Etsy's own privacy policy applies to your use of Etsy.
- Polar.sh — handles Pro checkout and license keys.
- Google Chrome Web Store — distributes the extension.
Children
Castly is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
